Storming the Castle — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

The final segment in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has Cal, Cere, Greez, and Nightsister Merrin heading to the planet Nur.

Their plan is to infiltrate the Fortress Inquisitorius.  Cere thinks this is where the Second Sister, Trilla Suduri is located.

Merrin uses a ritual to shield the Mantis from view of the Fortress.

Trilla took the Holocron from Cal Kestis while they were on Bogano.  The Holocron contains locations of all the force-sensitive children.

The entire crew make it their priority to take it back.

Infiltration — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

With the help of Nightsister Merrin’s ritual, the crew on the Mantis is able to slip unnoticed past the defenses of the fortress.

Cal’s main objective is to obtain the Holocron.  Cere’s responsibility is to take down their defenses to allow Cal to gain access deeper within the fortress.  The sensors will also need to be sabotaged so that the Mantis can extract them in the escape.

Cere and Cal prepare to enter Nur’s atmosphere.

The two eject on two escape pods and enter planet Nur’s atmosphere.  They swim toward the defense perimeter.

Interrogation Chamber — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

Cal and Cere meet up again after Cere makes an impressive entrance in taking out a group of Stormtroopers.

To Cere’s regret, this prison which contained the force-sensitive children has no one left saving.  She takes some solace in wrecking the place.

Cere tells Cal that the Holocron is located in the most secure area of the prison — the Interrogation Chamber.  That’s where Cal needs to head to.

Trilla Sudari — The Second Sister — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

Trilla ambushes Cal as he tries to activate the terminal in Interrogation Chamber.

She can be quite the handful with many different light saber and force attacks.  However, this final boss fight can be easily dismantled if you remember one tactic:

Force Push and Light Saber attack twice.

A Force Push puts Trilla in a vulnerable state in which you can attack her with the light saber.

Trilla Suduri.

You’re able to get in two hits uncontested, but a third hit will be blocked and deflected.  So then you can repeat this and Force Push again, to make her vulnerable.

Do this until you use up all your Force meter.

When I know I have only one more Force Push left, I usually like to attack with 3 hits — knowing full well that the 3rd hit will be deflected.  This is done mainly to buy some time so that my Force meter gets replenished.

Trilla at 50% Health — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

Starting the fight you should have full Force meter.  Position Cal so that a Force Push moves Trilla toward the edge of the platform.  This allows you to close and manage distance easier.

Split Saber attack sends Trilla to the ground and leaves her vulnerable for another light saber attack.

With more Force power available, instead of doing the two light saber attacks, you can use Force and use the Split Saber attack you learned in Ilum.  This powerful attack puts Trilla down to the ground, where she is prone to additional light saber attacks.

With these tactics you can initiate the second part of the fight, when Trilla’s health reaches 50%.  A small cutscene happens, where she reveals that she has the Holocron in her possession.

Trilla’s Attacks — Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Final Boss Guide

Trilla has a few variations of a 4-hit combo light saber attacks.  She can vary them and immediately use an unblockable attack.  For the most part, the light saber attacks are easy to avoid once you learn their timing.

The start of the second half of the fight will be focused on refilling your Force meter, and avoiding her attacks.  She introduces a Flashbang grenade that will impair your vision momentarily.

The fastest way to gain Force meter is to dodge Trilla’s light saber attacks.  If you are confident in avoiding her attacks, you can dodge them all instead of deflect/blocking them.

This stance means that she will dash forward to grab Cal in a Force Drain attack.

Trilla has a few unblockables.  Most can be easily avoided, but two of them are annoying.  One of them she slams the ground creating a force wave ripple.  You will need to double jump this.  Make sure to delay the second jump so that the first jump reaches maximum height.

The second unblockable you should look out for is a Force Drain, where Trilla dashes forward and grabs Cal, draining all his Force meter.  When you see that she’s about to do this, dodge laterally to the side.  If you try to double jump away, she will grab you.

Avenge Us

Using these tactics should help you get through the roughest parts of the Trilla fight.  If you want to challenge yourself further, you can change the difficulty of the game to the highest setting — Jedi Master.

Trilla knew her fate was sealed. Her last words: “Avenge us” — referring to the children imprisoned in the fortress.

You’ll be happy to know the tactics work just as effectively.  The only differences is that there is a flying security bot you will have to deal with during the fight.  Blocking and deflecting Trilla’s attacks also drain your block defense much faster.

Cere arrives when Trilla is beaten.  They have a moment together, before Darth Vader enters the scene.  He strikes down Trilla, and sends Cere falling down a pit.  It’s only Cal and BD-1 now.

Escaping Darth Vader

Cal is obviously no match for the dark lord Darth Vader.  The only option is to distract and escape with the Holocron.  The entire fortress begins to crumble and Cal heads for the turbolift.

He communicates with the Mantis and heads for the Tower Transit Passage.  Unfortunately, his exit is blocked by Darth Vader.

BD-1 plays his part.

Cal gets pushed away and Vader uses Cal’s own light saber against him.  Cere makes a life-saving appearance here, and almost succumbs to the dark side.  Using the force to create an opening in the wall of the passage, Cal grabs Cere and Vader is occupied by pushing back the incoming flood of water.

Nightsister Merrin can be seen diving for Cal and Cere, just as the screen fades to black.

Back on the Mantis

Cal awakens to Greez and is eagered to find out the fate of Cere.  He’s relieved to know that she’s fine, and thanks Merrin for rescuing them.

The entire crew sit down and decide what to do with the Holocron.  Now that they know the locations of the force-sensitive children, should they rebuild the Jedi Order?

The fate of the next generation of Jedi were in the balance.  But not to be decided by them.

Looks like the beginning of a new journey.

Cal takes out his light saber and destroys the Holocron.  The destiny of the Jedi is only trusted to the Force.

What did you think of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Ending?  It will be interesting to see if they develop a sequel for this game.  I can easily see this being the beginning arc in a trilogy story since they’ve established a good cast of characters.  Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
