Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations Guide

Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations

Through Red Dead Redemption 2, some companions won’t be making it to the end.  You can pay your respects to their graves which are scattered around the world.  Read on to find out more about the Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations – When?

You can begin looking for these grave locations after you have reached the Epilogue, but I suggest you finish both Epilogue 1 and 2 first just to have it out of way.

Finding the graves of your fallen companions counts toward the 100% completion.  After inspecting all 9, you will unlock the ‘Paying Your Respects‘ trophy/achievement.  There is no way to keep track of which ones you’ve inspected, so it’s best to do it all in one go.  You know you’ve fully inspected the grave when the game doesn’t give you the ‘Inspect‘ prompt anymore.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations – Where?

The only clue you have to go on in determining the location of the grave of a companion is where they last expired.  But even then their grave site could really be hidden out of the way of the main trails and paths.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Grave Locations – Video Guidance

This video guide below will help you find all 9 Grave Locations.  The starting locations are typically off some main road.  Pay special attention to which way the character icon is facing to help you locate these spots.  The graves locations are sorted by the chronological order in which the companion died — and it is recommended that you find them in this way if you wish to save the best for last.

If you just want to save time from going all across the map, you should search for them in this order: 1, 2, 7, 9, 8, 5, 6, 4, and 3.  The time stamps for each grave is within the video description.
