Detroit: Become Human The Painter Walkthrough – Chapter 4: The Painter.  Markus arrives home to drop off the paints package he picked up.  It’s time to wake Carl.

A magazine in this chapter is on a table in the living area.  You can find it after Carl asks you to find something to do.

Markus is able to explore the house before having to wake Carl.  You can serve the breakfast or clean the studio during this time, but it’s not necessary.

Carl will soon finish his breakfast and ask that Markus take him into the studio.  After Carl is done with his painting, he asks Markus to paint something to express himself.  Markus can choose Carl’s own painting, the desk, or the head statue.

To actually paint from the heart, Markus has three choice of subjects: androids, humanity, or identity.  Each subject has it’s own emotions and traits for a total of 12 different variations.

Walkthrough [A] & [B] are pretty much the same besides different choices of activities.  The decision to paint from the heart is also different.

Detroit: Become Human The Painter Flowchart

Chapter 4: The Painter Flowchart is 100% complete.  This chapter will take a few playthroughs to 100%, since there are multiple branches for the activities, and painting choices.  The choice to either: play chess, read a book, or play piano ripples into another chapter.  That chapter is Night of the Soul – Markus.  If you’re planning on getting 100% on that chapter, it will require playing from this one, all the way until nearly the end.  Don’t forget — you’ll need Carl alive.

There is only one possible ending here.  This chapter concludes with Leo intruding to ask for money.
