Detroit: Become Human Night of the Soul – Markus Walkthrough – Chapter 30: Night of the Soul – Markus.  The beginning of this chapter has two different scenarios depending on if Carl is alive or not.

Afterwards Markus will meet with his people to discuss what to do next.  There is no magazine in this chapter.

Detroit: Become Human Night of the Soul – Markus Walkthrough

This chapter is straightforward unless Connor has turned deviant and helped the group in the previous chapter: Crossroads.  Then he will regroup with the other deviants on sacred ground.  Markus has a big choice to make here: either kill or spare Connor.  If Markus spares him, Connor will hatch a plan to free the androids from the CyberLife facility.

But if Markus kills him, then CyberLife will once again send a new Connor, who will resume his duties as a machine to kill the Jericho leader.  Remember that everytime Connor is killed, he loses his memory and lowers his software instability.  Markus dying in a previous chapter will have North as the leader, but she won’t deal with Connor.

Walkthrough [A] has Markus choosing to do a Demonstration and visiting Carl back at his home.  Walkthrough [B] has Markus going through a Revolution after paying respects to Carl’s grave site.

Detroit: Become Human Night of the Soul – Markus Flowchart

Chapter 30: Night of the Soul – Markus Flowchart is 100% complete.  The branches while exploring the house are the activities you chose in an earlier chapter: either playing the piano, playing chess, or reading the books.  These are the activities from Chapter 4: The Painter.  Which means you have to play from Chapter 4 all the way to this one (30), to complete that part of the flowchart.

Detroit: Become Human Night of the Soul – Markus Endings

Markus will end this chapter with either choosing to follow through with a violent Revolution or a peaceful Demonstration.  If Markus is dead, North will choose a Revolution.

If Carl is dead, Markus will visit his grave.  Afterwards he’ll pass by Leo — they’ll share a glance, but not a word.  If Carl is alive, Markus will visit him back again at home.  Depending on your answers, Carl might die.  This can be avoided if Markus chooses non-aggressive, peaceful responses.
